Anyone ever use a fish finder?
Hawkeye Portable Fish Finder. $55 at Target. Good for a Christmas gift for dad who loves to fish?
I have a Fishin Buddy portble fishfinder, and I love it. It just clamps to the side of the boat and runs on 6 AA batteries. It works for ice fishing too. Really I don’t think i need a fancy fish finder, the most important thing is something to tell you the depth, and show you under water structure. If he doesn’t already have a fishfiner, this is a good starter for him. He may decide he needs a fancy one some day, or like me just be satisfied with the portable model.
And for whoever said a fishfinder takes the sport out of it, well, thats spoken like someone who doesn’t catch many fish!!! Fishing is always fun, but more fun with a fish finder. What can I say, us boys love our toys!
